Privacy policy

What we collect

• Teachers: Name, email address and mobile number, and a password (stored only as a one-way hash). Also the tests, slide decks and courses you create, and how many you create each day (for plan limits).
• Teachers using the app: the device name you sign in from, and a push notification token so we can send you account and plan notifications. App sign-ins last 90 days after their last use.
• Students taking a test: the name, college or class, and mobile number the student enters, their answers, score, time taken, and how often they left the test window. Students do not create accounts.

Why we use it

• To let teachers sign in, create and share tests and slides, and see their students' results.
• To stop the same mobile number taking a one-attempt test twice, and to flag likely cheating to the teacher.
• To issue and verify course completion certificates.
• To send teachers notifications about their account and plan. We do not send advertising, and we do not sell personal data.

Website analytics and ads

On our public pages and the teacher pages (not on the pages students use to take a test or see a result) we use two services that set cookies:

• Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move, click and scroll, so we can see which features people try and where they get stuck. Text you type and the results, billing, profile and presentation screens are hidden from these recordings.
• Meta Pixel tells Meta (Facebook, Instagram) that a visitor from one of our ads opened a page, created an account or made a test, so we can measure our ads. Meta handles this under its own privacy policy. It loads only after you choose Accept on our cookie notice.

The cookie notice remembers your choice in your browser for 180 days. Change my cookie choice

We also remember, for 30 days in your browser, which link first brought you to the site (for example an ad or a WhatsApp post) and save it with your teacher account when you sign up. You can block these cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working.

Who can see it

A teacher sees the results of their own tests only. The site administrator can see teacher accounts and usage. A certificate check shows only the name, college, course, score and date printed on the certificate.

PDF imports (Premium Plus). When a teacher uploads a PDF to make a test, the file is sent to the AI provider the teacher chooses — Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (GPT) — to read the questions. We store the PDF only while it is being read and it is deleted as soon as the import finishes; the questions found are kept for 7 days so the teacher can review them.

Free tries. Free tries on the home page are limited per device and per network. For the network limit we keep only a scrambled form of your internet address that changes every day and is deleted within two days; it is used for nothing else.

How it is protected

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords and app sign-in tokens are stored only as one-way hashes.

How long we keep it

• Teacher accounts: until you delete your account.
• App sign-ins: until you log out, or 90 days after their last use.
• Student test attempts: kept so results and certificates stay checkable. To have an attempt removed, contact us (below).

Delete your account

In the app: Account → Delete account. On the website: open the teacher dashboard and choose Delete account. You confirm with your password.

Deleting removes your name, email address, mobile number, sign-ins, devices and plan history straight away. Your tests, slide decks and courses stay available to students and other teachers, shown as "Former teacher", because students' results and other teachers' courses refer to them.
